The first day of the conference will take place at Blackburne House, a beautiful former shipowner’s mansion, girls’ high school and now cultural centre located in Liverpool’s Cathedral Quarter. Blackburne House is within approximately 20 minutes’ walking distance from the Liverpool waterfront, 15 minutes from Lime St Station, and 5 minutes from both University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University.
The second day of the conference will take place in the Old Library at 19 Abercromby Square on the University of Liverpool campus, which is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Blackburne House.

We invite all participants to join us for a reception at the Clove Hitch at the end of the first day, Thursday 11th September. The Clove Hitch is five minutes’ walk from Blackburne House, and the reception is included in your registration fee. We look forward to seeing you there!
